Can I insure my home if I haven’t bought it via a housing loan?

Yes, you can.

How can I pay the cost of the Property Insurance plan?

You can pay automatically through the deposit account you have with NBG each month.

Can I insure my summer home?

Certainly. However, you must note that regarding properties that remain vacant for more than 3 months, theft and damages caused by break-ins with the intent of theft are not covered.

Can I insure only my property contents?

Certainly. You do not have to combine the contents insurance with any of the property insurance packages.

What is the insurance procedure?

The insurance procedure is very simple. It takes just one visit to one of NBG’s branches. All you have to do is bring a E9 Property Declaration Form or an ENFIA Declaration Form with you to speed up the procedure.

What is the insurance coverage at “new for old” value?

For a building, the term refers to the cost of reconstructing an identical building of the same type, use and structure on the exact same plot of land. For an item, the term refers to the cost of replacing it with a new item of the same or most similar type or specifications.
