When is the amount transferred?

If you want to send money to another NBG account, then it is done immediately. If you want to send money to another Greek bank then it will be done the same or the next day, but you are given the option to do it immediately upon your request with a small charge.

Must I know the recipient’s account?

For amounts up to €500 you are not required to know the recipient’s account. You can use the i-bank Pay service so long as you know the recipient’s telephone number and they are connected to the respective service of their bank.

How can I keep track of the transfer?

You can keep track of the money transfer through i-bank alerts and push notifications.

Can I schedule the execution of the money transfer at a future date?

Yes. If you carry out the money transfer through Internet Banking, you can schedule the automatic execution at a future date.
