  • Get free monthly i-statements detailing all account transactions via Internet Baking.
  • Request the update of your account passbook.

You can make your daily transactions at an NBG Branch or through i-bank:

  • Cash Withdrawals: At NBG branches and i-bank ATMs using your debit card.
  • Deposits: At NBG branches and Automated Payment Systems, as well as i-bank ATMs.
  • Payments and money transfers: submit standing orders and make transfers by directly debiting your account at NBG branches and via i-bank Internet, Phone, Mobile Banking, and ΑΤΜs
  • A free annual check-up that includes a General Blood Test, Glucose, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Atherogenic index.
  • Preventive health control laboratory checks carried out once every year. The tests included in the proactive health control are: PSA for men over the age of 45, and Digital mammography for women over the age of 44 (with a €5.00 charge for the Insuree). For those tests, a doctor's referral note is not required. Additional benefits offered by the partner Diagnostic center at a special discount. A medical referral is not required for the above examinations. 

Note that there are several conditions:

  • The principal beneficiary must be an adult over the age of 18 and a permanent resident of Greece.
  • The program's commencement date is the date that the deposit account was opened. The program is not available independently and, therefore, in case the first beneficiary does not want this program, they have to choose another type of bank account
  • The free annual check-up and any additional benefits can be carried out after the lapse of 180 days of the insurance start date. The restriction exists only for the first year of insurance.

Insurance plans are sold only by Bank staff who are certified insurance intermediaries. The Bank is registered as an insurance agent with the Special Registry of the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen under No. 1028. The Special Registry's data are available through the online platform "Point of Single Contact (ESIP)" of Active Insurance Intermediaries, via which you can verify the registration with the Special Registry, http://insuranceregistry.uhc.gr/.

    A landline phone bill of any provider.
