EXPRESS loan in a few steps

User login
If you are a registered user, log in to Digital Banking and from the home page go to the "Loans" section and select "Get Now".
Data confirmation
Next, confirm your employment, home address, identity and tax information (by uploading your most recent tax return).
Ammount choice
After that, you choose the amount  you want, the repayment period in months and the account that will be linked to the loan.
Pre-contract info
Then, you can read about the specific features of the loan (in the pre-contract form), and declare that you have been duly informed thereof.
Data entry
In this step, you confirm and enter some more personal information.
Terms acceptance
Then, read and accept the relevant terms.
Submit application – Enter OTP
Now, submit the application by filling out the information required. Confirm the information by entering the OTP you received on the mobile phone you've registered with the Bank’s systems.
 
Procedure completed
Last, once the application has been submitted, you can print the respective evidencing receipt.

You can pay by monthly amortization installments, starting one month after the loan disbursement and payable via the borrower's designated loan-linked Deposit Account with NBG.
A statement is sent to you every month to keep you duly updated on your loan’s remaining instalments, interest rate, outstanding principal etc. Moreover, if you're a Digital Banking user, you can sign up for the Statements service and receive alerts regarding the issuance of your loan statements at the email address you've registered with the Bank.
The loan is available at a floating rate, based on the 3Μ Euribor, subject to a minimum equal to the ECB's intervention rate, plus a fixed margin rate throughout the entire loan term. Please note that the floating rate fluctuates in line with any increase or decrease in the base rate, which will impact your monthly installments accordingly. The floating rate also includes the levy required under Law 128/75, currently 0.60%.

Before you start

Required documentation

To get the loan you want, you need to notify us of your personal details. We will need your ID card, passport, and/or valid foreigner's residence permit, depending on your nationality.

Income verification

You get a loan with the obligation to repay it. So, we will need your latest income tax statement and documentation certifying your professional status, such as employer's certificate and/or a copy of the latest salary statement and document evidencing your VAT status. If you're a pensioner, you need to submit your latest pension payment slip.

To get the loan you want, please help us evaluate your application properly. Please answer all our questions accurately and submit all the necessary documentation.

If you're not a Digital Banking user already, you can quickly and easily register and manage your finances online.

Do everything online

You can manage the whole process online - on your desktop, tablet, or mobile - from submitting the application to signing the contract. Alternatively, you can visit an NBG branch and submit your application.
