EXPRESS loan in a few steps

User login
If you have a user account, log in to Digital Banking and from the home page go to “Loans” and choose “Get now”.
Confirm data
Next, confirm your employment, home address, identity and tax information (by uploading your most recent tax return form).
Choose amount
Then choose the amount you wish to apply for, the repayment period in months, and the bank account that’ll be linked to the loan for its repayment.
Accept information notice
Then you read the relevant information on the loan and accept it.
Enter further data
For this step, you should enter some additional details and confirm.
Accept terms
Then you receive information about and accept the terms and conditions of your application.
Enter OTP
Now confirm the application details and enter the OTP to complete the process.
Finish
Once you’ve completed the transaction, you can print a confirmation receipt.

You pay every month, starting one month after the loan disbursement. Your installment is paid on the same date, every month, automatically through your NBG bank account.  
Every month you receive a statement, informing you about your loan installments, your interest rate, the outstanding balance and so on. Also, if you’re an Internet Banking user, you can sign up for the i-bank statements service and receive e-mail alerts about your upcoming statements.  

The interest rate is floating based on Euribor (depending on the European Central Bank's intervention rate), plus a fixed margin.  

Bear in mind that the floating interest rate is subject to changes in line with any increase or decrease in Euribor and this may lead to an increase or a decrease in your monthly payments. Moreover, the interest rate is subject to a levy under L.128/75, currently amounting to 0.60%.

What supporting documents may I need?

  • Identity card or passport
    Your ID card or passport must be valid, printed and in Greek. Tell me more
  • Income Tax Clearance Certificate
    The income tax slip clearance certificate of the last two years.
  • Proof of occupation
    Your employer's certificate and/or copy of your latest salary statement if you’re employed in the private sector. Υour latest pension payment slip if you are a pensioner, and a document evidencing your VAT status if you’re a freelancer/sole proprietor.
  • Possibly utility bill
    Possibly utility bill confirming your address
