You have the option to cover all your cards1 with one plan except for Business MasterCard (credit) and debit MasterCard (debit for legal entities), which do not participate in the plan.

In order to receive the following benefits, you have to be between 18 and 70 years old and own an NBG debit, credit or prepaid card:

(*) In order to receive the mobile phone and any unauthorized telephone calls cost coverage, the connection number must be registered in the name of the insured person.

The above coverages apply worldwide, on a 24/7 basis, except for the Purchase protection coverage, which is only valid for items purchased in Greece.

The product is addressed to customers who are permanent residents of Greece, aged 18 to 70 years old, and holders of a credit or debit or prepaid card of the National Bank of Greece, and consider the risk of theft of their card and the cost of replacing their personal belongings in case of theft together with the card to be important.

The insurance plan covers all of your NBG cards. Exclusions apply for the Business Mastercard and Debit Mastercard for legal entities.

There is a specific and simple procedure for your compensation. The incident must be reported to the Department for the management of card insurance claims and payment protection programs, of the reinsurer who acts in the name and on behalf of A.E.E.G.A. "Ethniki General Insurance", by phone at +30 210 3380850, Monday-Friday 09: 00-17.00. Also, the loss of the card / cards must be reported to the competent department of the bank at +30 210 48 48 484. Finally, it is necessary to submit a report to the Police Authority within 48 hours from the determination of the Damage.
