If you're already a registered user, sign in to our Digital Banking and on the homepage click on “Accounts”, then select the account you wish to manage and click on “Security management”.

Please choose the types of transactions you wish to activate/deactivate on your account and maximize your security.

Enter OTP

Confirm the details entered and then enter the OTP to complete the process.

Furthermore, when performing transfers to other domestic banks (Piraeus Bank and Eurobank), you will now be able to see all the account beneficiaries of the other bank with concealed information, after entering the IBAN.

"Block User ": a new feature at your fingertips

Another strong security feature is now available via Internet Banking. Through the Internet Banking Log In page or from the "User Profile" section, the new "Block User" option allows you to "lock" your account in case you find or suspect that your information has been intercepted.

So:
• Your account is locked immediately
• Your active Internet and Mobile Banking connections are interrupted
• The account is disconnected from all devices
• Your data is deleted from all browsers

What do I need to know in case the account is joint and there are more co-beneficiaries?

The security settings are exclusively user-level managed and continue to be carried out regularly by the other co-beneficiary/ies of the joint account. The user shall accept the relevant informative clause, and then manage the settings he wants.

Do the security settings apply to all money transfers or payments carried out through the account?

The security settings that can be modified online apply to money transfers to accounts held with NBG and other banks. They do not affect
