By using the Social Solidarity Prepaid card, within Greece and the European Union, you can make:

• Purchases of goods and services at businesses that carry the Mastercard brand
• You can buy goods and services with Mastercard products and services from businesses that have the special terminals
• Transactions on the Internet in e-shops
• Telephone and postal orders (MOTO transactions)
• Transactions (cash withdrawals, etc.) via ATMs, either of the National Bank of Greece or of other banks
  
   

You can use it for your everyday transactions, except:

• Internet Banking payments, such as tax, road tax and insurance premiums
• Transactions in gambling, such as tax, insurance, road tax, insurance premiums, road tax, insurance premiums, road tax, insurance premiums, road tax, etc
• Transactions to buy weapons

With NBG cards, every transaction you make is secure. But you must remember that security also depends on you. You must keep in mind that your PIN is like your signature and:

• It is unique, strictly personal, and confidential
• It must not be disclosed to third parties, not even to bank employees
• You must not write it on your card, document, or object held or carried with the card.
• When you enter it, cover the keyboard.
• Do not accept help from anyone to enter your PIN.
• Make sure the next customer is at a safe distance from you.
• For greater security, we recommend changing your PIN at regular intervals.

Alternatively, if you're a registered Digital Banking user, you should:

• “Freeze” your card to temporarily deactivate it and, if the card is found, you can then reset it by selecting “Unfreeze Card” 
• Declare loss/theft
• Request reissue of the card
