  • Which of my financial dues, personal or family, can I pay via Internet Banking?
  • How easy is it for me to pay my bills via Internet Banking?
  • Can I pay bills for other people?
  • Can I pay my credit card via Internet Banking?
  • Can I pay my rent via Internet Banking?
  • My child is studying abroad and I often have to send him money to cover his expenses and needs. Is it possible to do this via Internet Banking?

Of course! Our Internet Banking service is of help to you both. All you have to do is credit the amount you want to your child’s account, at any time, even during weekends when banks are closed. If his account is also with NBG, the money transfer is free of charge. Once he sees that his account has been credited with the money you sent, he can withdraw it from his account using his ETHNOCASH PLUS card at any ATM displaying the Cirrus/Maestro logo.

If your child is a student abroad in another EU country, he can open a deposit account in a local bank to which you can send money in the same way. Money transfer fees in this case are very low and, what is more, if the account from which the money is debited is an "NBG Student Life Account" there is no charge by NBG for its side of the transaction.
