We participated in the “Crete Development Conference”

It is with great pleasure that we accepted the invitation of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce and the Crete Committee, to participate in the first “Crete Development Conference”. The event was held on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 March 2025, at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel, Heraklion Crete. The purpose of the event was not only to provide networking and exchange views, but also to showcase the innovative potential of Crete, partnerships and investments opportunities with US, and to present sustainable development in tourism, agriculture, energy, and to emphasize the strategic role of Crete in geopolitical developments. Mr. Giorgos Perakis, NBG's Regional Manager in Heraklion Crete, participated as a speaker in the panel "Knowledge Economy as a Tool for Attracting Investments", where, among other things, the role of innovation and technology in economic growth and the use of financial tools and investments in the development of strategies to attract investments in the field of knowledge, were discussed.
