We're celebrating the qualification of our proposal for the creation of a European Digital Innovation Hub
It is with great pleasure that we announce the qualification of our proposal for the creation of a European Digital Innovation Hub. We are one of the four teams selected, out of 18 teams in total that passed the initial selection process. The Hub’s goal is to support the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, public bodies and organizations, through the provision of targeted R&D services, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence technologies, high-performance computing, and cybersecurity. Special focus is placed on sectors such as the supply chain, energy-environment and culture – tourism.
Our proposal, “Smart Attica”, which will be implemented in the region of Attica, was submitted in collaboration with 16 other bodies: the Dimokritos Research Center, the Athens University of Economics & Business, the National Technical University of Athens, the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Athena Research & Innovation Center, the National Documentation Centre, the Foundation, the CapsuleT of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Onassis Foundation, GRNET - National Infrastructures for Research and Technology, the Uni.fund SEV -Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations, the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency, and the Regional Development Fund of Attica.
