Report on the Social Entrepreneurship Workshop

For the 5th year, we organized the online HIGGS |Higher Incubator Giving Growth & Sustainability workshop on social entrepreneurship: introduction, networking and mentoring.
It involved the teams participating in the 13th Innovation & Technology Competition and was held on Monday, 24/10/2021. In total, 33 teams were invited to participate and the key component of their proposals was social entrepreneurship. Women were running 30% of the teams, while 42% of them came from outside Athens.

Ms Betty Tsakarestou, Associate Professor at Panteion University, Athens and Head of Advertising and Public Relations Lab (ADandPRLAB), Ms Ioanna Margariti and Mr Iraklis Papatheodorou, representatives of the Onassis Foundation and Mr Konstantinos Karvounakis from Metavallon VC, — all partners of NBG Business Seeds program — attended the event.
