8th Βlue Growth Competition
We supported the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) again this year in the 8th Blue Growth Piraeus Competition, participating as a member of the seven-member panel of judges for the Competition. Apart from us, the other members of the panel included academics from the NTUA, the University of Piraeus, the Panteion University, the University of West Attica, and the CEO of Elevate Greece.
The Pitching Day took place on Monday 29 May in the event hall of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with representatives from the local authority and the business community of the city.
Together we participated in a celebration of ideas for the blue economy. With great interest, we watched 40 competing teams of students and businesses respond and provide solutions to the challenges of the blue economy.
The successful teams are participating in the NBG Business Seeds integrated program for innovative and extrovert entrepreneurship.
The Competition was organized under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus, the University of Piraeus, and the Start-up Promotion Center of the Municipality of Piraeus.
