Innovation in Western Greece and bodies that support it 3.0, in the context of the Regional Growth Conference
It is with great pleasure that we launch our events in Western Greece with a great live meeting and we invite you for the 3rd consecutive year to the two-day workshop “Innovation in Western Greece and bodies that support it 3.0”. The event will be held in the context of the Regional Growth Conference, on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 March, at 11:00, at the Cultural - Conference Center of the University of Patras.
The two-day event maps out, through 18 panels, 143 speakers and 12 workshops, innovation in Western Greece by answering key questions, such as: How is innovation implemented in Western Greece today? Who can benefit? Which sectors of the economy are affected? Which organizations support the effort of teams and companies to innovate? What financial tools are there? What other forms of support are provided? In the aftermath of the pandemic what is the future outlook?
Discussions and workshops will be attended by 48 key bodies and organizations that will visit Western Greece to meet and network with local organizations. View the program here

Friday 17 March will end with a networking cocktail reception, kindly sponsored by Bayer Hellas.
On Saturday 18 March and Sunday 19 March, the Bootcamp Match & Develop a startup Patras 4.0. for research teams and startups will take place as follows: On Saturday 18 March, in Conference Room Ι8 of the Cultural - Conference Center of the University of Patras and on Sunday 19 March in the Conference Room of the Patras Bar Association at Dimitriou Gounari 30, Patras.
At the bootcamp, companies will have the chance to discuss their ideas with local entrepreneurs, attend workshops and receive mentoring by Fund Managers. On Sunday, presentations will take place before a panel of judges. One company will be shortlisted to participate directly in Phase II of the 14th Innovation & Technology Competition, and prizes will be awarded by collaborating businesses and organizations.

The two events are held as part of an initiative of Smart Attica ΕDIH in the context of the Regional Growth Conference.
