Participation in the meeting of the committee on Research and Technology of the Hellenic Parliament
We were delighted to accept the invitation to participate once again in the meeting of the Special Permanent Committee on Research and Technology of the Hellenic Parliament. The meeting was held on Wednesday 21 January 2026 in the "President Ioannis Alevras" hall, focusing on the theme of "The Fintech ecosystem in Greece: opportunities, stakes, and key players”.
Dr. Spyros Arsenis, Head of NBG Business Innovation Development presented to the Committee the Bank's actions, the NBG Business Seeds program, and the Greek Fintech Hub. Mr, Aristides Samitas, Vice-Rector of Finance and Development at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Mr. Michalis Vafopoulos, CEO of Linked Business, were also invited to participate in the committee.
