Cooperation between NBG Business Seeds and the StartSmart SEE
It is with great pleasure that we announce the inclusion of the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece in the NBG Business Seeds partners network. A relevant memorandum of understanding was signed on Wednesday 4 February by NBG members Mr. Charis Vlatakis, Head of NBG’s Group Business Strategy, Start-ups and Collaborations Division, Dr. Spyros Arsenis, Head of NBG Business Innovation Development, and Mr. Vasilis Papakonstantinou, vice chairman of the Forum. Said memorandum seals the strong, long-standing relationship between us.
The memorandum includes the planning, development, and scheduling of synergies between the Forum and the Bank, within the framework of actions aiming to encourage and develop young entrepreneurship, innovation and extroversion of Greek start-ups. In addition, special emphasis is placed on the co-organization of events and mutual participation in mentoring actions, and the joint organization of actions and workshops, aimed at promoting innovation, providing targeted support, and guidance on business issues to the Forum groups. The 10 best teams of the Innovation and Technology Competition of NBG’s Business Seeds program will be directly shortlisted for the Association's StartSmart Accelerator program. Accordingly, the shortlisted teams of the Association's StartSmart Accelerator program will be directly shortlisted for the Innovation and Technology Competition of NBG’s Business Seeds program (Phase B of the Competition). Last, businesses that participate in the StartSmart SEE accelerator and meet the criteria can access the discounted package of products and services for start-ups.
