Completion of the actions for the Special Awards for Financial Empowerment
In the context of the “ENNOIA” initiative to Empower Households in their Financial Decisions, we held a special Workshop on Tuesday 10 March for the 17 teams of the 16th Innovation and Technology Competition, who submitted a proposal on “Financial Literacy”. The Workshop, which saw a great turnout, was conducted in collaboration with Accenture, Mr. Michael Haliassos, Professor of Macroeconomics and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt, and the non-profit Komvos organization. The aim of the Workshop, which is an initiative of Smart Attica ΕDIH and was held with co-funding by the EU, was to inform participants about the importance of financial empowerment as a national strategy and to illuminate what “ENNOIA” means for each participating organization.
Next, on Tuesday 17 March, at the NBG offices, 6 teams presented their proposals to the special committee, which consisted of NBG senior executives and the associates of “ENNOIA”. The event enables contestants to claim up to five prizes totalling €10,000.
