Submission of proposals for the 14th Innovation & Technology Competition

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the 14th Innovation & Technology Competition of NBG's Business Seeds program, on Wednesday, 12 July 2023.
This is the longest running Innovation Competition by a Greek institution, in which 7,520 people have already participated.
The purpose of the Competition is to showcase and reward original ideas, research results, business plans and companies that contribute to the development of innovative systems and applications, based on new technologies, integration of ESG in the design of products and services, the spread of the use of new information and communication technologies, and generally the promotion of innovation in Greece.
The themes of the competition are:
- e-Business
- ESG, Environment and Technology
- Culture and Technology
Participants are invited to join information, networking and mentoring activities run by experienced staff at National Bank of Greece and the partners of the program: KEMEL, the Archimedes Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Onassis Foundation, the National Documentation Center, HIGGS, OK!Thess, CapsuleT, Bayer Hellas, Mastercard, NBG Pay and 45 other organizations and organizations.
In the context of the Competition, the first 4 proposals receive cash prizes of €20,000, €10,000, €6,000 and €4,000 respectively, after evaluation by university professors and NBG executives. The first ten proposals receive significant promotion and guidance from the Bank's executives. For selected proposals, partnership with the Bank, the use of their products and services, as well as the Bank's participation in their share capital are explored as potential avenues.
The deadline for submission of proposals is Wednesday, 4 October 2023, at 15:00pm.
