The Next Banking Generation Internship aims at enabling interns to gain experience in Accounting and Finance and become familiar with everyday working life in the Bank, as well as at supporting young people in obtaining the ACCA qualification.

Students of the postgraduate studies program of the Department of Finance and Banking Management of the University of Piraeus, who have also enrolled in ACCA Accelerate.

The term of the internship is 6 months.

This 6-month paid internship program is aimed at students of postgraduate studies programs at the Department Banking & Financial Management of the University of Piraeus who have also enrolled in ACCA Accelerate and wish to gain know-how and professional experience by working in specialized areas of the Bank's business activities alongside experienced executives.

Through the Next Banking Generation Internship program you can:

be trained by experienced NBG professionals
get the most out of your 6-month internship, as it also counts towards the 3 years of work experience required to obtain the qualification
be recruited by NBG following a positive evaluation
access financing for the courses and examinations required for acquiring the qualification, following recruitment by NBG
meet the CPDs (continuing professional development hours) performance objectives required to maintain the qualification, and enjoy discounts on ACCA seminars

Following the successful completion of the program, interns can be recruited by the Bank, provided that they have successfully met its requirements and there are relevant service needs to be met.
