Born in 2002, Elina from a very young age managed to star in the javelin throw. She has already won gold medals at the European U23 Championships in 2023, the 2022 European Games and the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Bueno Aires, as well as a silver medal at the 2021 World Youth Championships in Kenya.

Her most recent major achievements is securing 1st place at the European Team Championships in Madrid (June 2025) and winning the Diamond League Final in Zurich (August 2025).

Her outstanding performances in 2025 have propelled her to No. 2 in the World Rankings—a career-best.

She is considered one of the greatest talents in Greek athletics and continues to compete with the aim of achieving even greater success.

Elina has been a member of the NBG family since 2022.
