Mrs. Beate Randulf joined National Bank of Greece Group (NBG) in April 2019 and was appointed as Group Chief Control Officer - Assistant General Manager of the NBG in May 2019. She is responsible for enhancing the effective and efficient operation of the Bank's internal controls within the 1st line of defense in close cooperation with the independent functions within the 2nd line of defense, to further improve the Internal Control System of the Bank.

Before joining the NBG Group (November 2017 - March 2019), she was the Senior Director of the CFO Office of Piraeus Bank responsible for Quality Assurance and Control within the Finance Division. Prior to joining Piraeus Bank she has 26 years (1991-2017) of public auditing experience under both the PCAOB and International Auditing Standards with Deloitte Greece specializing in the Financial Services Industry. Mrs. Randulf was an Equity Partner in Deloitte Greece from 2006. She has extensive experience of the NBG Group, as she was the Audit Engagement Partner on the NBG Group during the period 2006-2015 and acted as the Lead Client Service Partner for the period 2012-2015. During this period she became a subject matter expert on Internal Controls based on the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Mrs. Beate Randulf was also responsible for the cross functional learning within Deloitte Greece responsible for ensuring that the learning strategy was implemented for all the business.

Mrs. Randulf is a Fellow Certified Charted Accountant (FCCA) (1994), a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as well as a Greek CPA (2010). She is Norwegian and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and Finance from the American College of Greece (Deree College) (1991).
