Evangelos Christou was appointed Assistant General Manager of Procurement & Demand Management of National Bank Group in December 2023.
Since April 2020 he held the position of Procurement & Demand Management Director for the National Bank Group, following 3 years as Procurement Director of the Group. From 2008 until 2017 he served as Head of Procurement Sector.
Prior to joining National Bank Group, he held the position of Procurement Deputy Director at Cosmote, where he worked for a total of 7 years.
With over 20 years of experience in Procurement, Evangelos has successfully led multiple cost-reduction projects, specializing in modern procurement cycles, process redesign, negotiation, and cost analysis.
Evangelos Christou holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MBA in Business Administration.
