What’s it like to design your own home? How do you transform an elevator landing into a private and cozy nest? What’s it like to create your precious abode just as you like it? Meet Nefeli, an Architect, who 10 years ago designed and built her very own house in the center of Athens. Today, she shares some of her tips and secrets with us.

Nefeli lives with her partner and her “Queen of the Night”, a unique plant that only blooms one night a year. She chose to build her house in the city center because she enjoys the excitement and liveliness of the area: there’s Technopolis, the subway station as well as all kinds of interesting things to see and do within walking distance.
