i-bank Pay 4 Business

Now, through NBG's i-bank Pay 4 Business service, business collections are easier than ever and the funds are instantly credited into your account.

i-bank Pay 4B is an integrated payment acceptance system for merchants and professionals, and offers:

  • quick and hassle-free payment acceptance
  • transaction security
  • services to a wide range of customers, holders of Android and iOS devices
  • direct credit of funds into your account
  • low commissions
  • transaction history of your account.

You can receive payments from your customers who are i-bank Pay users, in 3 innovative ways:

1) From your customer's mobile phone to your mobile phone or tablet with the use of the i-bank Pay 4 Business app.

Download now i-bank Pay 4B for smartphones or tablets with Android (version 4.0.3 or higher) or iOS (version 8 or higher).

                                                         

2) From your customer's mobile phone to your i-bank POS by QR code scanning.

3) From your customer's mobile phone to the i-bank Connector device linked to your cash register.

You must be an i-bank Internet Banking user and your customer must have activated the i-bank Pay app in order to receive payments in any of these three ways.

You don't need to be a registered user of the i-bank Pay 4B app to use the i-bank Connector & i-bank POS devices for payment acceptance.

You can accept contactless payments from customers in 3 innovative ways:

1.  Your mobile phone or tablet by using i-bank Pay 4B app

To participate in i-bank Pay 4B you need to:

  • be an i-bank Internet Banking user, legal entity or sole proprietorship, and
  • have a smartphone/tablet with Android (version 4.0.3 or higher) or iOS (version 8 or higher)
  • download and activate the i-bank Pay 4B app
  • set up your store on the app, at your first login, so as to receive customer payments.
  • You can add as many stores as you wish and receive payments for each one
         separately through just a single device.
  • At any time you can add employees authorized to accept payments for the account
         of the business.
  • Otherwise, you directly will receive the payments for your store.
  • The employees do not have access to the details of the business account and cannot debit it.

To receive payments from your customers you need to:

  • select the store on the i-bank Pay 4B homepage for which you wish to receive payment
  • enter the amount and reason (optional), and
  • tap on the yellow arrow on the screen.
  • The transaction is completed upon the approval of the customer.

The customer must have activated the i-bank Pay app.
The devices communicate via bluetooth, which must be switched on on both customer and merchant devices and both devices must have internet access (either wifi or 3G/4G). 

The charges of the mobile phone provider apply.

2.  The i-bank Connector device

You can accept customer payments through the i-bank Connector device, without the need to download the i-bank Pay 4B app. All you need to have is an i-bank Internet Banking account and a cash register device linked to the i-bank Connector device so that you can send payment requests to your customers.

To receive payments from your customer you need to:

  • Enter the payment amount
  • The customer logs in to the i-bank Pay app and clicks on "Contactless Payment"
  • With bluetooth turned on, the customer holds the mobile phone close to the i-bank Connector so that the amount appears on the customer screen.

The customer must have activated the i-bank Pay app.
The customer must have the bluetooth turned on and internet access (either wifi or 3G/4G) on the mobile phone. 

3.  i-bank POS by QR Code scanning

You can receive payments using QR Code through your i-bank POS,  without the need to download the i-bank Pay 4B app. You just need an i-bank POS.

To receive payments from your customers you need to:

  • Tap i-bank Pay transactions and then enter the payment amount.
  • The i-bank POS prints out a QR Code for authorization of the payment
  • The customer opens the i-bank Pay app and taps on "QR Code Payment" in order to scan the code 
         and complete the payment.

The customer must have activated the i-bank Pay app.
The customer must have internet access (either wifi or 3G/4G) on the mobile phone.
